At COol lab, I am working on a project pertaining to Synthesis and characterization of nucleolipids using canonical and non-canonical nucleobases.

These are hybrid molecules of prebiotic relevance and are thought to have resulted from the cross-talk between lipids and nucleobases that could have existed in the prebiotic milieu.

As a little girl, I would watch the Cosmos series with my papa, sitting side by side as we marveled at the wonders of the night sky. Our conversations would flow endlessly, filled with questions about the universe and life itself. I often found myself wondering, "What am I made of?" and "What is life, which is so complex and ubiquitous?" It was in those moments, under the vastness of the stars, that my curiosity was sparked, igniting a deep passion to explore the origins of life. Today, I find myself pursuing that very passion, driven by the same sense of wonder that began all those years ago.
